Hare and Bear Designs specialises in high quality print and editing. With nearly 30 years experience of the world of print, Jane Russ and her husband Mick Toole started the card business in May 2007, to not only print their own designs but to give a fully managed print service to other artists. They offer the skills of a design studio to carefully edit your artwork, to produce the best print possible. Artists can provide high res scans, good quality photographs or send the artwork for scanning by the team. Care in colour reproduction and sympathetic use of the artwork are the hallmarks of the quality provided by Hare and Bear.

No charge is made for creation of the artwork or amendments and do factor this in when you are looking at prices elsewhere and the minimum order for A6, A5, A7 and DL (210mm x 99mm) is just 8 and thereafter multiples of 4.125mm and 148mm square cards both have a minimum of 9 and thereafter in 3s. Mick and Jane have always been unimpressed by the 'you must buy 500' attitude of the art print houses or the variable quality of high street print shops. Experience told them some people were making a lot of money and not necessarily offering the best end product.

H&BD prices, whilst not the very lowest, are reasonable and allow you to add a profit for yourselves so each card you sell, in effect, costs you nothing. All cards are full colour, blank inside and use quality coated card and envelopes. A 'wrap around' format is available for suitable artwork at no extra cost. Prices include a cellophane wrapper if requested and there are no hidden extras. Proofs are e-mailed for final sign off and the turnaround time, from sign off to delivery is usually 3 working days and never more than 5. Delivery is not included but orders can be collected from central Banbury, otherwise postage/carriage & packing will be charged at cost.
